Well rent got raised another $100 so i'm outta this apartment. But Im not moving too far, just a few blocks north into a duplex. My Fiance is converting our garage into a studio! So now i have storage for all my crap and a place for a printing press, easel, some metal lockers we found, and anything else we might need.
Oh, I need a light box table (like a drafting table that has a plastic/glass top i can shine a light under), but they are extremely expensive, if anyone knows how to build one or where to get a cheap one let me know.
Finally all the moving again is forcing me to go through stuff, i have a whole closet and under bed area filled with sketch pads and portfolios. Most of everything that is more than a year old I am trashing, only keeping a few key piece of bad art for nostalgic pieces. But everything is gone including all my illustration studies like the rub out, my 30 hour pencil rendering of a drill, ect ect. Somehow im not really missing it. Its nice to have the space free of stuff.
